Keep our city green

We can change the entire world and it only depends on us. Following is a list for each citizen to think more about sustainability:

  • ·         Planting  a tree in your life;
  • ·         Get one day per week without eating meat, chicken or fish;
  • ·         Turn off the tap when brushing your teeth or washing the dishes, it only opens when rising;
  • ·         Leave the lights off in empty rooms;
  • ·         Do not exaggerate in the shower. Two or three minutes less makes a difference;
  • ·         Do not necessary wash the car or yard with a hose;
  • ·         Castrating your pet;
  • ·         Do not buy animals, adopt;
  • ·         Separate your recyclable rubbish and put them in the appropriate cans;
  • ·         Do not throw batteries in the rubbish. Separate and let it in a collection for waste battery;
  • ·         Do not throw out cooking oil. Put on a glass container and take it to the collection;
  • ·         Do not buy anything leather or animal skin;
  • ·         Do not go to a rodeo or places that use the animal for fun. Animals deserve to live without pain;
  • ·         Leave your car once per week in the garage;
  • ·         Do not throw out the rubbish;
  • ·         Do not leave the rubbish on the sidewalk;
  • ·         Be sustainable, the environment and planet thank you!

Why do not we talk about politics on the eve of elections?

Most people do not care about politics and they are not politically aware. They always vote in the same politician. People do not care voting correctly when the politicians start their mandate. People don´t demand the politician promises appropriately, for instance, do not ask about health, education, environment, public transport, safety, unemployment, crimes and school quality.

Politicians in Brazil have a lot of problems like crimes, law enforcement, poor quality of school, poor education, teacher without qualification for teaching, teacher earning too little to teaching, poor quality of the public health care system , crowded public transportation and traffic jam. People must try to know who the politician is and the promises that they have made in the election campaign before voting.

Moreover, when comparing the numbers of voting, 10% of citizens cast a blank null their votes. If people are really find it difficult to engage with the political process they null their votes, because in Brazil is obliged to vote. There are many people that justify their vote, because of that.

All things considered, I see that young people have to start reading and become interested in the problems of the country, if they always seek knowledge, we can have better days.
